Surf Fishing Report:
Scattered Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

The winds are W at 8 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Cloudy/PM/showers/ water is flat.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some Trout, few keepers, Stripers, Black Drum, Flounder and Croakers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: A few Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: No contact.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught a good amount of Bluefish and Spanish plus Albacore. Speckle Trout are still plentiful for the inshore boats and nice Flounder and Stripers as well. The headboat had a great day catching a variety of fish including Sea Mullet, Sea Bass, Trout, Bluefish, Flounder, Pig Fish, Pin Fish and Puffer Fish

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet caught a significant amount of Yellowfin, limits of Dolphin and limits of Tilefish. Several Wahoo were caught, one 55 lb citation, and some Black Sea Bass. There were Sailfish releases.
