Surf Fishing Report:
Scattered Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Spot.

The winds are SE at 3 and the water temp is 79 degrees. Small swell, clear water, sun shining, hot day, light wind.  

 

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, some keepers, Black Drum and Croaker.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Sea Mullet and a 42 lb Cobia. Water Temp is 80 degrees.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Croaker.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore had another super day catching Bluefish, Moonfish, Amberjack, Tilefish and nice size Spanish. Inshore could do some bragging with large Flounder, excellent Trout fishing, and citation Red Drum releases. Miss Oregon Inlet also had keeper Flounder, several 20 inch and sea mullet, bluefish, puffers, gray trout, sea bass, sea robin, croaker, pigfish, and pins.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It was Wounded Warrior day for the Oregon Inlet Fleet and the billfish bite was outstanding. Limits of Tilefish, scattered Yellowfin, Dolphin, Blackfin and Wahoo.
