Surf Fishing Report:
Small Sea Mullet and small Spot.

The winds are SE at 7 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Waters clear with weak swells, sunny day, light winds. The water is so warm there were several small Sailfish caught from Piers yesterday.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum and Croakers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: No one knows what’s biting this morning at Avalon. They are too busy.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Black Sea Bass, Spadefish, Bluefish, Spot, Spanish and Pompano.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Blues, Pompano and Croakers.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore fishing is great with anglers catching Moonfish, Albacore, Bluefish and Spanish. Inshore caught Trout, Spanish and Moonfish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It was an excellent Dolphin day with some of the boats catching their limits. The same for Tilefish. A few Yellowfin were also caught. There were Billfish releases a well.
