Surf Fishing Report:
A few Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Spot.

The winds are SSW at 11 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Calm water, hot day.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum, Spot and Croakers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Avalon’s pier equipment was fried when they had their lightening strike some weeks ago. I cannot always get in touch with them. They are open.

Nags Head: Bluefish, Pompano, Flounder and Spot.

Jennette’s: Blues, Spot, Pins and Pigs. Water temp is 69 degrees.

Outer Banks: Mullet and Perch.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore anglers added Trout, Blues Spanish and Amberjack to their boxes, also caught Cobia and shark. Nearshore boats trolling along shore caught plenty of Spanish and Bluefish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It looks like billfish action is revving up for the upcoming Tournaments. There were 11 White, 4 blue Marlin and 4 Sailfish releases yesterday. There were limits of Dolphin, limits of Tilefish, Wahoo, one 41 lb citation and some Yellowfin.
