Surf Fishing Report:
A few bottom fish.

The winds are SSW at 7 and the water temp is 61 degrees. Waters flat and cold, air is hot, calm winds. The paddle boarders are out early.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported bottom fish and Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Slow.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The open boats had an impressive day catching plenty of Speckle Trout, Amberjack and Flounder. The nearshore brought in Bluefish, Spanish and Amberjack.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
You just cannot ask for better fishing weather for the anglers fishing with the bluewater fleet. The Dolphin bite was good with the boats catching their limits. Some nice Wahoo were caught with one citation 55 pounder. Anglers bottom fishing limited out on Tilefish. There were Billfish releases also.
