Surf Fishing Report:
A few bottom fish are scattered up and down the beaches. Should catch some Bluefish.

The winds are NE at 4 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Waters flat, clear, calm winds, overcast and it is a great day on the Outer Banks.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few keeper Trout and a keeper Flounder.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Spanish.

Nags Head: Small Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Sand Perch and Spanish.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught some Spanish, a few Sea Bass and Amberjack. Inshore anglers caught their limits of Speckle Trout, Tilefish and some Cobia. The Headboat caught nice keeper Flounder, Sea Bass, Sea Mullet, Croakers, Lizardfish, and Spot.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet caught some whopping Yellowfin weighing up to 86 lbs. It was also a good Billfish day with one charter having a grand slam.
