Surf Fishing Report:
Sea Mullet, Spot and Bluefish.

The winds are SE at 5 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Ocean is flat, calm winds and a good beach day.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and Bluefish. Lost a big Cobia and caught 3 small ones.

Nags Head: Blues.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spanish and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks: Mullet, Spot, Croaker, and Bar Jacks.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The inshore boats caught plenty of Trout and had Red Drum catch and releases. The nearshore caught their usual numbers of Albacore, Spanish and Bluefish. Miss Oregon Inlet reported Bluefish, Trout, plenty of Croaker, Sea Mullet, Sea Bass, Puffers, Pig and Pins.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It was another big Billfish bite. The offshore released over 40 Marlins and Sailfish. There were limits of Tilefish and also some Dolphin action.
