Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish, Spot and Sea Mullet. It is a great day for fishing. The water looks good. Look for the fishing to pick up the next couple of days with the NE wind.

The winds are N at 13 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Weak wind swell, clear water, sun is shining and no heat wave today.


Sound Fishing Report:

Anglers fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway over the weekend caught Trout, Black Drum, Flounder and Croakers. My daughter was visiting for the weekend and probably bored with mother decided to fish the bridge and caught a Catfish. Go figure!! (Picture).

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Triggers, Spadefish, Albacore, Bluefish and Cobia circling the pier.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Bluefish, Sea Mullet Pins and Pigs.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught Bluefish and Jacks. The Inshore angler had a good day catching and releasing Red Drum.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The Billfish bite is still on. There was a total of 126 Billfish caught. 60 Sails, 16 Blue Marlins, 50 whites and 4 grand slams. Awesome day! Some Yellowfin Tuna came home in the boxes and limits of Tilefish.
