Surf Fishing Report:
Spot, Bluefish and Sea Mullet. Alex Smay sent word the Bluefish were right in the wash in Corolla and you could catch 10-15 an hour.

The winds are NE at 12 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Light winds off the ocean, moderate surf, and clear water. Nice day.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported early morning Trout, Croaker, Black Drum and Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish.

Nags Head: Bluefish, Spot, Spades, Pins, and a 4 lb Trout near front of pier.         

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spot, Flounder and Pompano.

Outer Banks: Spot, Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The inshore boats caught Amberjack and their limits of Speckle Trout. Nearshore fishing was good with anglers catching nice Albacore, Bluefish and some Spanish. The Headboat caught a variety of fish including Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Gray Trout, Spot and Flounder.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
High winds kept a few boats at the docks yesterday. The ones that did make their way through the inlet brought back a few Dolphin and some Yellowfin. There were also some Billfish caught.
