Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish action has been over the top in Corolla for the last couple of days. They are running from 10 to 14 inches, perfect size for the pan.  All you need is a small rod and a lure and you can have a blast. Bill Perry sent a picture of the beach covered with bait fish that beached themselves. Thanks for the pictures. I do love getting pictures telling the story. Also there are Sea Mullet, Spot and Bluefish on our beaches.

The winds are NE at 9 and the water temp is 77 degrees. The water has small swells, clear and warm. Nice day on the Outer Bank.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported better fishing with more keeper Trout, Black Drum, Croakers and nice size Spot.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blue, Spanish, And Pompano. 2 Cobia caught yesterday and several lost.

Nags Head: Blues, Spot and Spade.

Jennette’s: Spot, Croaker, Sand Perch, Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Bluefish, Spanish and good Spot fishing.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught Amberjack, Albacore, Bluefish and Spanish. Inshore boaters caught Sea Mullet, Croaker, Amberjack, Specks and a Cobia and Shark.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Another extraordinary day for the sport fishing anglers. There were 17 Sailfish, 10 White Marlin and 3 Blue Marlin caught Tuesday. There were good numbers of Dolphin caught, some Yellowfin and plenty of Tilefish.
