Surf Fishing Report:
There are Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Spot. David Neilson said the Bluefish bite is still on from the north beach’s surf. He was fishing Ocean Sands early morning.

 

The winds are SSW at 8 and the water temp is 79 degrees. Small clean swells and the surfers are out.


Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum, Spot and Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Spanish and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Blues.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spanish, small Triggers and Banded Rudderfish.

Outer Banks: Spanish, Blues, Sea Mullet, Spot, Pompano and small Puppies.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Boat fishermen trolling for Bluefish and Spanish continue having good luck outside the Inlet and a short distance off shore along the beach. Inshore boaters are also catching Spanish and Bluefish and limiting out with Specks. The Headboat anglers are catching their usual bottom fish.

 

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It is an awesome combination when you have perfect weather and good fishing. Anglers caught their limits of Dolphin, good catches of Yellowfin and some Blackfin. Another impressive day for Billfish catches and Releases.
