Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing was extremely good on our beaches from Nags Head to Corolla. A good Trout bite, small Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Spot and Pompano. Steve Halbleib caught several keeper Trout in Corolla plus small Drum and a Striper.   
The winds are SSW at 11 and the water temp is 75 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge anglers on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching some keeper Trout, Croakers, Spot and Stripers.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Small Drum and Trout.

Nags Head: Pompano and Trout.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, small Puppies, small Trout and Spot.

Outer Banks: Bluefish on artificial bait, Drum in the wash, Sheepshead, Spot and Pompano.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The open boats continue to catch good numbers of Specks and Puppies in the sound. Spanish and Bluefish are plentiful nearshore. It was a good day for Miss Oregon Inlet. Anglers decked Trout, Sea Bass, Sea Mullet, Gray Trout, Sea Robin, Puffers, Pins and Pigs.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Another banner day for Billfish and a great day for meat fish. Good numbers of Yellowfin, Blackfins and Dolphin. Wahoo fishing was exceptionally good with releases and citations. A citation 183 lb Bigeye Tuna was caught as well.
