Surf Fishing Report:
The winds are SSW at 10 and the water temp is 75 degrees. The water is calm, the sun is shining and the black flies have been on the beach all week. And there is no bug spray that can help with Black flies.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Croaker and Spot.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues and Trout.

Nags Head: Small Puppy Drum and Sheepshead.

Jennette’s: Pinfish.

Outer Banks: Sand Perch, Pompano, Puppies. A 31 in Drum last night.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore fishing for Spanish was exceptional with boats catching their limits. They also caught Amberjack, Bluefish, Albacore and Sea Bass. An inshore angler caught a 55 lb Cobia, and boaters also caught Spanish, Blues, Albacore and Red Drum.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fishing is good and the weather is beautiful and that is an awesome combination. Plenty of Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna were caught and good numbers of Mahi Mahi.

Mahi-Mahi is a Hawaiian word –means strong-strong for Dolphin fish.
