Surf Fishing Report:
Fishing was slow overall Saturday. Some small puppy Drum and one keeper caught in Pine Island. Should be some small bottom fish.


The winds are SSW at 13 and the water temp is 73 degrees. A little overcast, expecting PM thunderstorms, small breakers. It is quiet on the beach this morning.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot, Croaker and Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues and small Puppies.

Nags Head: Spot and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: A couple of Bluefish.

Outer Banks:  A few Mullet.


Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The inshore boats caught Specks and Red Drum. Nearshore had another good Bluefish and Spanish day. They caught Albacore as well.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Offshore had another phenomenal day with limits of Yellowfin with 5 weighing more than 70 lbs. Limits of Dolphin and plenty of Blackfin. A 98 lb Bigeye and 4-5 Wahoo was added to the mix. A total of 60 Billfish were caught, most were Sailfish.
