Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing is good. Small Drum, Pompano, Sea Mullet, Trout and Bluefish. It has been reported fishing is good on the south side of the bridge, south side of the inlet, anglers catching a few keeper Puppy Drum, nice Bluefish and keeper Trout.


The winds are N at 13 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Water, fairly calm and fairly clear, overcast.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Small Trout and small Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: False Albacore, Bluefish Puppy Drum and Blow toads. Picture just came in from Avalon Pier of a nice Black Drum.

Nags Head: Blues, Spanish and Albacore.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, False Albacore and Pompano.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Blues, Spanish, Small Drum, Pompano and Albacore.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore reported Spanish, Blues and Albacore. Nearshore open boats decked Sheepshead, Bluefish, Shark, Albacore and plenty of Speckle Trout. The Headboat caught Spot, Sea Robin, Puffers, Gray Trout, Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Flounder.
 

Offshore Boats Report:
The Fleet continues to bring home mammoth Yellowfin ranging from 70 lbs to 76 lbs. Also Blackfin, Wahoo, limits of Dolphin and many White Marlin releases.
