Surf Fishing Report:
Small Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet were caught yesterday. With the tough conditions today, more of the same with Bluefish added. Maybe a keeper Drum.
The winds are NE at 19 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Sun is shining, rough water and windy.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and bottom fish.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.
Nags Head: Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Puppy Drum.
Outer Banks: Bluefish.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore fleet is catching plenty of Spanish, Bluefish and Albacore. Inshore fishing for Trout is good. They are catching Red Drum and Flounder also.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet returned with good numbers of Yellowfin, nice Wahoo and limits of Mahi Mahi. There were also White and Blue Marlin releases.
