Surf Fishing Report:
Sea mullet action was good at ramp 4 yesterday. John Cain caught beautiful Trout wading near Oregon Inlet. The ocean is really rough this morning. It would be really hard to fish the surf today.
The winds are E at 18 and the water temp is 75 degrees. We have rain, rough surf, high winds, all remnants of Julie.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported bottom fish and Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:

All piers are slow this morning with only a couple of people giving it try.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The fishing was slower than usual for nearshore boats but they did bring in some good catches of Spanish and Bluefish. The inshore also had some catches of Bluefish and Spanish and good Trout fishing.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet brought home plenty of Yellowfin and Dolphin with some boats catching their limits of both species. There were a good number of Billfish releases.
