Surf Fishing Report:
There should be Some Drum caught today. They are here. The piers have reported Drum the last several days. Should be Puppy Drum caught in the surf.


The winds are NNE at 11 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Sun is shining, expecting isolated thunderstorms, Water has calmed down some and so has the wind.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a good run of Trout this morning with some keepers, Stripers and Croaker

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and Sea Mullet and 6 Red Drum last night. They are catching a Red Drum as I speak.

Nags Head: Trout, Spot, Blues, Croaker and Red Drum last night.

Jennette’s: Black Drum and Pompano. 6 Red Drum Wednesday night.

Outer Banks: Croaker.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

A few inshore boaters did not let the rain stop them from trying their luck. They caught Bluefish, Spanish and some Flounder.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The conditions were tough yesterday. The charters stayed in the creek.
