Surf Fishing Report:
 A few Sea Mullet and Black Drum were reported caught yesterday. There should be bottom fish caught today. The water is muddy and a little rough.
The winds are NNE at 8 and the water temp is 77 degrees. It is a nice day on the OBX. People are out early walking the beach and there are a few early morning fishermen.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway has been the hot spot the last few days with some anglers catching their limits of Trout, and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Spot and Blues.

Jennette’s: No report.

Outer Banks: Small Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet and Croaker.


Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore anglers had a great day decking Specks, Cobia, Bluefish, Spanish and Red Drum. Nearshore boat trolling for Bluefish and Spanish also had an awesome day. The Headboat was busy with its anglers catching Spot, Sea Bass, Gray Trout, Sea Mullet, and Pins and Pigs.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Finally, the weather was nice and the fleet could fish. They had fantastic Yellowfin catches, good catches of Blackfin, and Plenty of Dolphin. There were Billfish releases as well.
