Surf Fishing Report:
Trout and keeper Puppies were caught in the surf yesterday and Sea Mullet as well.
The winds are NW at 5 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Sun is bright, little wind, small waves, a great fishing day.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge anglers on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are having some good Speckle Trout runs. Joseph Brown and Don Edwards had an awesome day catching Specks yesterday.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Spanish and Puppy Drum.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Blues and Pompano.

Outer Banks: Mullet, Pompano, Puppy Drum, 1 keeper 19 in.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore decked plenty Bluefish and Spanish plus a few Albacore. Inshore caught Blues, Spanish, Albacore and another day of good Speckle Trout fishing. Miss Oregon Inlet caught Gray Trout, Croaker Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Flounder, Sea Bass, and Pins and Pigs.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Another great day on the water. Anglers caught great numbers of Dolphin, a considerable amount of Yellowfin and some Blackfin. A 74 lb trophy citation Yellowfin was weighed in. There were White Marlin and Sailfish releases.
