Surf Fishing Report:
Blues, Sea Mullet, in the slot Puppy Drum and Pompano.
The winds are NE at 5 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Calm light winds, calm surf, partly cloudy.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Puppy Drum, Stripers and slow Trout fishing.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.

Nags Head: A couple of Blues.

Jennette’s: No contact.

Outer Banks: Spot and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore boats trolling along the beaches caught plenty of Spanish and Bluefish. Inshore sound anglers continue to have great catches of Trout, some Flounder and Puppy Drum.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Lots of activity on the docks yesterday. The charters returned with limits of Dolphin, nice Yellowfin, some Blackfin and some good size Wahoo. One Wahoo weighing in at 57 lbs. There were White Marlin, Blue Marlin and Sailfish releases.
