Surf Fishing Report:
The water has calmed from yesterday. It is fisherable and if you would fish today despite the rain, you will most likely have a good day like the piers are having.
The winds are SW at 9 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Soggy day, scattered thunderstorm throughout the day is expected, beautiful surfing waves.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge anglers on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway can claim a couple of keeper Stripers this morning and has lost a couple also a few Trout.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet, Trout, Spanish and Spot.

Nags Head: Bluefish, Spanish and Trout.

Jennette’s: Pompano, Trout, Blues and Puppy Drum, 2 keepers.

Outer Banks: Trout, Spot, Bluefish and Sand Perch.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore catches consisted of Flounder, Blue, Red Drum, Specks and Gray Trout. Cobia season ended yesterday and Striper season opens today. 2 per person per day, 18 in TL minimum.

Nearshore decked Spanish, Blues, Gray Trout, and Sea Mullet fishing the channels.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet had another great day of catching their limits of Yellowfin and Mahi. Good numbers of Blackfin were also caught.
