Surf Fishing Report:
There were some Bluefish caught yesterday at the inlet. Today, the Little Bridge would be your best bet, and the wildlife Pier under the Pirates Cove Bridge.

The winds are NE at 24 and the water temp is 73 degrees. The water is extremely rough with high winds.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some keeper Trout, and a few keeper Stripers and lots of small Black Drum.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Red Drum were caught last night and early morning. Drum anglers are fishing hard this morning for that big one.

Nags Head: Anglers are on the end of the pier fishing for Drum. Not catching yet.

Jennette’s: No report.

Outer Banks: Catching Pompano, little Spot and small Puppies.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught Spanish and Bluefish. Inshore boats caught plenty of Spanish, some Flounder and Stripers. The anglers on the headboat decked Lizardfish, Puffers, Croaker, Spot, Sand Perch, Sea Mullet and Gray Trout.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Only a few boats ventured out yesterday, and those that did brought back good catches of Yellowfin, Blackfin and a few Dolphin.
