There were Drum caught north of the inlet. Steve Kopanski fishing the surf in Corolla caught Drum. The surf is fisherable this morning.
The winds are NE at 13 and the water is 67 degrees. Another day of strong surf and high winds. Mostly cloudy.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported anglers fishing on the rocks and catching Puppies and Trout. The causeway had lots of damage. 26 of the 27 power poles on the causeway were down.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Puppy Drum, small ones and in the slot puppy Drum ranging 18 to 27 in
Nags Head: Caught keeper Drum and Trout yesterday. Not yet this morning.
Jennette’s: Lots of small Puppy Drum with one keeper.
Outer Banks: Will open tomorrow.
