Surf Fishing Report:
The surf fishing news is scarce and I think it has to do for the lack of fisherman. There were scattered Drum yesterday and the water looks great this morning for Drum and Sea Mullet. With the wind NW and the ocean really muddy, I would be Drum fishing. Hatteras Island opens today for visitors. That’s a good thing.

The winds are NNW at 9 and the water is 68 degrees. The sun is shining, not much wind and the water is not as rough as yesterday.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported good Trout fishing and Drum Wednesday.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Puppy Drum and some keepers. The pier had a good day yesterday with Trout Sea Mullet, Puppies and Croakers.

Nags Head: Puppy Drum and Trout.

Jennette’s: A 42 in Drum, Puppy Drum some in the slot, Croaker, Black Drum and Sea Mullet. Hooked 5 big Drum yesterday and caught 4.

Outer Banks: Puppy Drum.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
