Surf Fishing Report:
Scattered Drum, Trout, Bluefish and Spot were caught along all the beaches yesterday. Should be more of the same today. Jeff Eller caught a 52 in Red Drum from the Oregon Inlet Bridge. He said it took an hour to bring him in and 3 men to hoist him up. Thankfully he swam away…..!

The winds are NE at 9 and the water is 66 degrees. The sun is shining, the water is not as rough today and the wind is not as strong either. A good day to fish on the Outer Banks.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported anglers catching Trout, Puppy Drum and Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Puppy Drum and Trout.

Nags Head: Drum and Spot.

Jennette’s: Big Puppy Drum bite, 1 Red Drum, Blues, Spot, Black Drum, Gray Trout and Stripers.

Outer Banks: No contact but I am sure they are catching.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

A few inshore boats fished and caught some nice size Specks, Sheepshead and Puppy Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore boats have not made it out since Matthew.
