Surf Fishing Report:
The weather is fabulous. The winds are light and the very large swells are shrinking. The water is still murky. Drum and Black Drum, Spot and Sea Mullet are biting. Also some Trout despite the dirty water.

Robert Shapiro had a fabulous day catching his first Puppy Drum with a fly rod after receiving needed advice and fishing supplies from the guys at TW’s.

The winds are SSE at 6 and the water is 68 degrees.

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout and Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Lots of Trout, Mullet, Spot and Blow Toads,

Nags Head: Spot and Trout.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Trout, Gray Trout, Spot, Sea Mullet and a Puffer.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Black Drum, Spot, Croakers and Blow toads. The water is looking better is S. Nags Head.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The good news is the nearshore manage to catch some Bluefish yesterday in the very muddy water we are experiencing. This should improve every day. The inshore anglers caught Red Drum, Black Drum and a few Bluefish. There were Sea Mullet, Croaker and Trout around the inlet and Stripers in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet brought home a substantial amount of Dolphin, good numbers of Yellowfin and a few Wahoo.
