Ocean is looking better every day. A few Trout, nice size Sea Mullet, small Drum and Black Drum.
The winds are NE at 5 and the water is 70 degrees. Sunny day, calm winds, and
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few Stripers and Puppies. All too small to keep.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Trout and a couple keeper 19 in Puppy Drum.
Jennette’s: Gray Trout, Sand Perch and 1 Red Drum.
Outer Banks: Blow Toads, Mullet, Sheepshead and Spot.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats caught Blues and anglers on an inshore boat caught nice Sheepshead. Some Spot, Sea Mullet, Croaker and Gray Trout caught around the inlet
Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater charters filled their boxes with Dolphin, some nice Blackfin Tuna and a couple of Wahoo.
