Surf Fishing Report:
My kids were here from Roanoke and wanted to fish. Decided to try our luck at the Inlet Sunday though I knew the conditions were not great. We went south of ramp 4 and set up. My thought on the conditions were proven immediately. Much grass and fast moving water. Pulled up and went north. Ran out of the grass. Came up on a guy hooked up on a Drum. He was fishing a nice slough. I parked on the edge of the slough on the opposite side. Those guys caught one big beautiful Drum after another and we watched. Never had a bite. But I got pictures!

I also heard of some Sea Mullet and Trout up and down the beaches yesterday. Today the water is a little murky and more of the same should be caught today.

The winds are SW at 14 and the water is 66 degrees. The water is pretty flat, sunny day and windy.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow for the bridge anglers. Small Trout and small Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Puffers, Bluefish and Trout. Fishing is slow this morning. Caught some Red Drum yesterday.

Nags Head: Puffers and Trout. Fishing is slow.

Jennette’s: Bluefish and small Trout. Slow.

Outer Banks: Caught some keeper puppy Drum yesterday and a good run of Bluefish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
