Surf Fishing Report:
There are plenty of Puppy Drum caught along the beaches. A big Puppy Drum bite at Oregon Inlet. Denny Bomar said his group caught 16 just at dark. He has already caught 2 this morning. Lots of grass this morning in the area. There are also scattered Bluefish, Spot, Trout and Sea Mullet. And then there is the 70 lb Red Drum released alive that Perry Byrum caught in Ocracoke Inlet. Thanks for the Pictures.

The winds are WSW at 10 and the water is 66 degrees. Wind should be switching to NW later this morning. The water is calm and muddy, sun is shining.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Trout.

Nags Head: Trout. Working on a big Drum as I speak. 9:00 am

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Trout and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks: Black Drum and Trout. Big run of Bluefish yesterday

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore anglers caught Puppy Drum, Spanish and Stripers. The nearshore boats caught a slew of Bluefish, some Spanish and a few Albacore. Stripers around the Bridges.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The charters caught good numbers of Blackfin, a few Wahoo and some Dolphin. There was a 43 lb citation Wahoo caught.
