Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing was only fair yesterday. A few keeper Drum, some Trout and Spot were caught. Robbie May caught a beautiful Speckle Trout in Kitty Hawk. Today is another day. Could be a good Drum day if you can fight the wind.  On a day like today, find a good slough. The Puppy Drum can be in the wash right at your feet.

The winds are NE at 21 and the water is 68 degrees. High winds, small choppy windswell, and overcast.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some keeper Drum and Stripers. Sheepshead reported at the Oregon Inlet catwalk.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Drum, Trout, Spot and Blues.

Nags Head: Trout and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: A doz. Red Drum early, Puffers, Spot and Trout.
Outer Banks: Slow.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The nearshore and inshore boats caught some Red Drum. Puppy Drum and Flounder in the Inlet and good Striper fishing in Croatan Sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
Another day of good catches of Wahoo with a few citations. Plenty of Blackfin and some scattered Yellowfin. There was a Blue Marlin release as well.
