Surf Fishing Report:
There were plenty Puppy Drum on the beaches yesterday. Few keepers. Mike Brone caught a nice size Black Drum in Corolla. Two inches shy of being a keeper. Slot size14-24 in/10/day. One Black Drum per person per day over 25” TL allowed.
The winds are NW at 17 and the water is 61 degrees. High Seas, strong winds and cloudy.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.
Pier Fishing Report:
Piers are slow this morning. There are a few people fishing, just not catching yet.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore anglers fishing the sound caught keeper Stripers, Trout and Puppy Drum.
Offshore Boats Report:
Stayed at the docks. Enough of this bad fishing weather.
