Surf Fishing Report:
Anglers caught plenty small Puppies yesterday. Today, the fishing should improve adding some Sea Mullet, Trout, Bluefish and Black Drum to the mix.
The winds are WSW at 13 and the water is 61 degrees. Clean rolling surf, bright sun and a beautiful fall day.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Stripers and Puppy Drum.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, Black Drum and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Trout, Sea Mullet, and 1 small Puppy.
Jennette’s: Puppy Drum, Bluefish and Puffers.
Outer Banks: Puppy, Drum, Flounder and Trout.
Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
