Surf Fishing Report:
Drum fishing was outstanding yesterday. They are small but fun to catch. TW’s Wheeler Johnson said they caught at least 30 small ones. Mark Stanley told me he caught 17 Drum and 2 keeper Black Drum. There were also some Trout reeled in. There should be Sea Mullet, Spot and Black Drum caught with another big Drum bite again today. The conditions are great.

The winds are NE at 12 and the water is 59 degrees. Sunny, not much wind and small surf.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Stripers and Puppy Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, Spot and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Trout, Puppy Drum and nice Sea Mullet.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum.
Outer Banks: Puppy Drum, Black Drum and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The fishing was exceptional for the inshore boats. There were plenty of keeper Puppy Drum and nice size keeper Stripers caught.

Offshore Boats Report:
