Surf Fishing Report:
Another beautiful day on the Outer Banks. Fishing is fair with fishermen beaching a few Sea Mullet, Bluefish, small Trout and Bluefish.

The winds are SW at 5 and the water is 59 degrees. Sunny day, calm winds and surfing waves.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

My information source for the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway has been closed since the storm. I do get news on occasion and this morning I was told there was nothing happening.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout and Bluefish.

Nags Head: Specks, Gray Trout and Sea Mullet.

Jennette’s: Gray Trout and Speckle Trout.
Outer Banks: Lot of small Trout, Sea Mullet, Black Drum, Flounder and 2 Stripers.


Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Striped Bass was plentiful for the open boats fishing inshore with Bluefish and Shark as well.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater charters returned to the docks with good catches of a variety of fish. Blackfin Tuna, plenty of Dolphin, King Mackerel and good size Wahoo. Also Sailfish, one citation and Shark.
