Surf Fishing Report:
We had our first cold snap of the season. And it gives you a sense of just how high winds and low temps can feel standing on the beach or piers. I have no surf news from yesterday. A little warm up expected today. The water looks good for surf fishing if you can brave the cold.

The winds are WNW at 12 and the water temp dropped to 55 degrees. The air temp is 38 degrees this morning  (8 am) recorded pier end of U. S. Army corps of Engineers Research Pier in Duck

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow. There are anglers fishing on all 4 piers despite the cold.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Nothing yet.
Outer Banks: An 18 ¾ in Puppy, and some no keepers.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

No report

Offshore Boats Report:
Boats stayed tied to the docks.
