Surf Fishing Report:
Holiday fishing has been exceptional for our surf fishermen. There has been nice size keeper Trout, keeper Drum, big Black Drum, Bluefish, citation Sea Mullet and Bluefish.  

The Ledford sisters Drum were 24 and 25 inches. Angie Hall and Jon Long caught their Drum and Trout on a jig rod using gulp shrimp.

The winds are NW at 22 and the water is 55 degrees. Choppy water, high winds and cloudy.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Stripers.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 3 keeper Puppies, Black Drum and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Big Trout, 1 42 in Red Drum and 3 last night.

Jennette’s: Blues, Sea Mullet and small Trout
Outer Banks: Keeper Drum, Mullet, Black Drum, Bluefish and Trout.


Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The inshore angler had a really good day catching Striped Bass, Trout, Black Drum, Puppy Drum and Bluefish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The Bluewater charters caught plenty of Yellowfin with some boats limiting out with their catches. There were also some Black Drum and 2 citations Big-eye tipping the scales at 138 and 168 pounds.
