Fishing Report:
Fishing was extremely slow yesterday. I heard of a couple of small Trout and lots of Skates caught at the Inlet. The water was grassy and murky. Conditions are much better today. The boats fishing right off the beach everyone is asking about are shrimp boats. I understand they are filling their boxes with a tremendous amount of shrimp. Jennette’s Pier caught a few Sea Mullet, Gray Trout and Skate yesterday. The Little Bridge reported Stripers. The fleet stayed at home.
The winds are N at 9 and the water is 57 degrees. Sun is bright, chilly morning, ocean has small choppy swells.
