Fishing Report:
There were a few Black Drum scattered on the beaches and some nice Sea Mullet in Buxton Sunday. Jon Guess of Norfolk caught Dogfish in Kitty Hawk using squid for bait.
One year ago, a 138 lb White Marlin was certified as a new state record. Fin Again out of Teach’s Lair in Hatteras was the charter. The previous record was 118.8 pounds caught off the coast of Oregon Inlet in 1976.
The winds are WNW at 22 and the water is 48 degrees. A cold day, sunny, high winds, flat Ocean.
