Fishing Report:
Wednesday was a good day. Small Flounder, Blow Toads, Puppy Drum, big Sharks and large Bluefish were caught at the Point. Two Bluefish reported were 32" and 35". The Buxton Beaches reported Bluefish, Blow Toads and Sea Mullet. Frisco had catches of Sea Mullet. Avon Beach also had Bluefish. Oregon Inlet reported Puppy Drum. Wish I had been there.
Jennette’s Pier anglers are catching Bluefish this morning. Today is OBX Pier first day open. Avalon Pier is also open.
The fleet made it out to the Gulf Stream yesterday and returned with Yellowfin, Blackfin and a nice Bluefin.
Boaters fishing the sound are catching Specks and Striper.
The winds are SW at 19 and the water is 51 degrees.
