Monday was a beautiful spring day and the fishing was fair. Some Blowtoads and small Sea Mullet were caught at Avon. The Point had a good number of Skates, a 33 in Drum caught on metal and the jetties had Bluefish and Blowtoads. Frisco was bombarded with Skates, caught small Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Blowtoads.  Hatteras caught the same adding a few small Flounder to the catch.

The piers are catching Blowtoads, Sand Perch and Sea Mullet.

Oregon Inlet had 3 offshore boats to sail yesterday. Some nice Yellowfin were caught as well as a Dolphin and a Mako Shark.

An inshore boat fishing caught some Shad.

The winds are SW at 12 and the water temp is 55 degrees. Warm and cloudy. Expecting a front to come through later. Water is pretty flat with a weak swell.
