Fishing Report:
The wind was all over the place yesterday switching several times turning the weather from hot to downright chilly late afternoon. I was at the Inlet and fishing was slow going there. There was some grass in the water and it was flat. The Point had some big Blues caught on metal. Buxton reported Bluefish, Toads, Sea Mullet and Puppies. Avon caught Gray Trout, Sea Mullet and Blow Toads. Hatteras had Bluefish and Drum. Nik DeBerry caught a 9 lb Bluefish and a 26 in Drum in old Hatteras. Brian Hopping hooked a 26 in Drum and released a 29 inch in Ocracoke. Brian picked up his bait at TW’s on the way down. There were fish from one end of this Island to another. Wyatt Redman reported Puppy Drum in Corolla.

TW’s Britton Stewart vacationing in Marco Island, Fla. fought a Tarpon on her Trout rod for over an hour. She was having all the fun.

The bluewater charters came back to the docks with a few Yellowfin and Dolphin in their boxes yesterday.

Jennette’s Pier anglers are catching Bluefish & Puffers this morning. OBX has Blow Toads and Mullet.

We have SW winds at 8 and the water temp is 50 degrees. Calm water, flat glassy ocean, gentle winds, sunny.
