Fishing Report:
The south beaches had Bluefish everywhere. They were caught with metal and cut bait. Also good catches of Puppy Drum, Black Drum and Sea Mullet. Big Drum reported at the Point. On this side of the bridge, Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills had a big Trout bite. There were a lot of 3 pounders and Caleb Chick caught a 5.3# citation Trout. Gene Perry has caught a 5.13 citation this morning in KDH. Picture coming tomorrow. South Nags Head reported Puppy Drum and Trout and there are Blow Toads and Sea Mullet scattered.
The Little Bridge anglers are catching Trout, Black Drum and Stripers
Avalon Pier had a big Bluefish bite yesterday. Avalon catching Trout and Striper, Jennette’s Pier reported Sand Perch, Shad and Gray Trout. OBX has Mullet, Trout and Croakers.
Boats stayed at the docks.
The winds are SW at 15 and the water is 50 degrees. Overcast, mild winds, flat water and murky.
