Fishing Report:
Before I get to the fishing report this morning I would like to thank everyone for their praises for the store and the fishing report over the Easter holiday. Fishing has been outstanding and I can’t say enough about the large Trout and Bluefish showing up.

The Bluefish were biting again yesterday. They were on most of the beaches south of the bridge and Joe White caught a mess of them at ramp 4 and one was 36 in. Now that’s a big Bluefish. The Point also caught Red Drum and the jetties had keeper Puppies, sea Mullet, Sheepshead and small Flounder. Frisco and Hatteras also had Puppy Drum. We had large Speckle Trout again yesterday. Gene Perry caught another in KDH and this one was a 5.13# citation. Tim Chambers caught a whopper at 4.65# just short of a citation in Nags Head. There were scattered Bluefish, Croakers, Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum on our beaches also.

OBX pier is catching Blues, Sea Mullet, and Blow Toads. Nags Head Pier catching Shad, Avalon Pier had an early morning good Trout bite.

The Little Bridge anglers caught Stripers and Black Drum.

The winds are N at 11 and the water is 51 degrees. Cloudy, cooler, choppy Ocean, windy.
