The weather was pretty miserable with it raining most of the day but fish were caught.

There was a big Drum bite at the Cape between midnight and 3 AM. There were 20 -30 releases. The point also had Bluefish on metal. Buxton caught Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Blowtoads. Some Blowtoads, Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum were reported on the Frisco Beaches. Hatteras beached Blowtoads, Sea Mullet, Flounder and Puppy Drum.

Not much going for the piers this morning due to the weather but they are fisherable. With the wind as it is, the Little Bridge could be a good place to try your luck for Trout and Stripers.

The winds are NE at 27 and the water temp is 54 degrees. It is a chilly morning, overcast, winds are high and the water is rough. Unfortunately, this weather is going to hang through Saturday.
