Fishing Report:
Wow! Did we have strong SW winds or what? I live on the sound side of this sand bar and I am really tired of seeing white caps on buzzard bay. Despite the high winds there were a few fish caught. There were chopper Blues reported in Kitty Hawk. The point had another big Drum night. It was slow overall.

Trout fishing is at its best for the anglers on the little bridge. Jed and Raymond limited out yesterday with 8 beautiful nice size Specks. They also caught 5 on Sunday. “It can’t get no better than that.”

Pier Fishing

Avalon: Sea Mullet

Nags Head: Bluefish and Sea Mullet

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Sand Perch and Croaker

Outer Banks: Skates.

Inshore boats caught Bluefish and Spanish.

Only a couple charters went out yesterday. Oregon Inlet reported a few Dolphin and Pirates Cove had some Dolphin and Yellowfin.

We have SW wind at 22 and the water temp is 57 degrees. Cloudy, high winds, Ocean is like a big mud hole.
