In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish and Puppy Drum were caught in Buxton; Cape Point reported Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum and Flounder. Frisco reported nice Flounder and Bluefish from their beaches. A few Sea Mullet and small Trout on the northern beaches. There are big Trout and Bluefish biting in KDH. A couple of citations have been weighed in this morning. Picture tomorrow

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and Bluefish.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet. Coat weather on the piers.

Nags Head: Small Trout.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: A good run of Sea Mullet.


Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:Inshore boats had a good day catching Bluefish and Spanish. Nearshore also caught Spanish and Bluefish along with some catches of Cobia.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet caught some Yellowfin, King Mackerel and nice Dolphin. A 61 lb citation Wahoo was caught. The talk of the day was Cobia. Many Cobia were in the water and there were good catches. There was trophy Cobia weighed in at 67 lbs.

The E wind is at 15 and the water temp is 60 degrees. Sunny, small choppy swell, muddy near shore, clearing, windy.
