In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:
Cape Point had good Bluefish catches on metal and cut bait. Buxton beaches caught slot Puppy Drum, Flounder, Bluefish and a 24 in Cobia from the surf. There were Trout caught in KDH yesterday and some Sea Mullet, small Bluefish and Croaker scattered along our beaches.

I received my first wild Turkey picture of the season. The wild Turkey season ends tomorrow but you can still stop in and check out our hunting supplies.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow but some Trout and Bluefish this morning.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: Slow.


Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The inshore caught Bluefish and Spanish. Cobia fishing has been outstanding the last several days and I have pictures of some beauties this morning.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The wind has been rough on the bluewater fleet. They still brought home some nice Yellowfin, a few Dolphin, Shark and Wahoo.

 

The S wind is at 25 and the water temp is 60 degrees. Hard winds, sweeping S wind swells, chocolate water, overcast, thunder storms expected.
