Despite the wind being a big problem, some Sea Mullet, Blowtoads and Black Drum were caught from Buxton to Hatteras. Randy Auman fished the point with not much luck.

The place to fish on this side of the bridge would be the Little Bridge and the Wild Life Pier on the causeway. A nice Trout and a keeper Striper reported caught yesterday.

The winds are NE at 22 and the water temp is 55 degrees.  The wind will be a factor through the weekend. The wave height this morning is 7.97 ft and will increase to 9-12 on Saturday and Sunday causing some minor beach erosion. The temp will remain in the 50’s. The good news is the sun is shining.
