In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:
The south beaches had some Sea mullet and Bluefish. The point caught some Puppies, Bluefish and a good run of Sea Mullet. On this side of the bridge there were scattered Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Trout. Ross Pinkett caught a 38 in chopper Bluefish in Nags Head. Courtney Soper moved to the sound side to do her fishing and caught 2 nice Largemouth Bass.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported still a little slow with a few Trout and Stripers.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Big run of Bluefish this morning before daylight to 8;30. A few still biting.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Bluefish, a Puppy Drum and have sighted a Cobia in the water.
Outer Banks: Trout, Sea Mullet and Blow Toads. Great Bluefish bite yesterday casting gotchas.
 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

It was another good Cobia day inshore and nearshore.

 

Offshore Boats Report:

The offshore fleet returned with limits of Yellowfin, plenty of Dolphin and some Blackfin.
 

The W wind is at 8 and the water temp is 59 degrees. Another chilly morning, light wind, no surf.
